Site Reliability Engineer

We are looking for a strong experience in Linux administration, scripting, monitoring, and production support. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining application stability, troubleshooting production issues, automating operational tasks, and supporting CI/CD and monitoring initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and support production and non-production environments.
• Perform application monitoring, incident management, and operational support activities.
• Troubleshoot application, infrastructure, and database-related issues.
• Develop and maintain Shell scripts for automation and operational efficiency.
• Work with Linux systems for deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting activities.
• Monitor system health, logs, and performance using monitoring tools such as Splunk or Dynatrace.
• Support ITIL / ITSM processes including incident, problem, change, and release management.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and support teams for issue resolution and deployment activities.
• Analyze application logs, identify root causes, and implement preventive measures.
• Support deployment and CI/CD activities using Jenkins.
• Maintain documentation for operational procedures, troubleshooting steps, and system configurations.
• Participate in on-call support and production release activities as required.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in Linux administration and command-line operations.
• Hands-on experience in Shell Scripting.
• Good understanding of ITIL / ITSM processes.
• Experience in PL/SQL and database troubleshooting.
• Strong application troubleshooting and production support skills.
• Hands-on experience with monitoring tools such as Splunk or Dynatrace.
• Understanding of operational support processes and incident management.

Good to Have Skills

• Experience with Jenkins and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of Groovy Scripting and YAML.
• Basic understanding of Git / Bitbucket.
• Exposure to configuration management tools such as Ansible or Chef.
• Knowledge of automation and DevOps best practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Relevant certifications in DevOps, Linux, ITIL, or cloud technologies are an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Experience Range

• 5–8 years of relevant experience in DevOps, Production Support, or Application Operations.
