We are looking for a strong experience in Linux administration, scripting, monitoring, and production support. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining application stability, troubleshooting production issues, automating operational tasks, and supporting CI/CD and monitoring initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and support production and non-production environments.
- Perform application monitoring, incident management, and operational support activities.
- Troubleshoot application, infrastructure, and database-related issues.
- Develop and maintain Shell scripts for automation and operational efficiency.
- Work with Linux systems for deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting activities.
- Monitor system health, logs, and performance using monitoring tools such as Splunk or Dynatrace.
- Support ITIL / ITSM processes including incident, problem, change, and release management.
- Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and support teams for issue resolution and deployment activities.
- Analyze application logs, identify root causes, and implement preventive measures.
- Support deployment and CI/CD activities using Jenkins.
- Maintain documentation for operational procedures, troubleshooting steps, and system configurations.
- Participate in on-call support and production release activities as required.
Required Skills
- Strong experience in Linux administration and command-line operations.
- Hands-on experience in Shell Scripting.
- Good understanding of ITIL / ITSM processes.
- Experience in PL/SQL and database troubleshooting.
- Strong application troubleshooting and production support skills.
- Hands-on experience with monitoring tools such as Splunk or Dynatrace.
- Understanding of operational support processes and incident management.
Good to Have Skills
- Experience with Jenkins and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of Groovy Scripting and YAML.
- Basic understanding of Git / Bitbucket.
- Exposure to configuration management tools such as Ansible or Chef.
- Knowledge of automation and DevOps best practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Relevant certifications in DevOps, Linux, ITIL, or cloud technologies are an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Experience Range
- 5–8 years of relevant experience in DevOps, Production Support, or Application Operations.
