Construction Project Manager

My client is now hiring a Project Manager. This client is one of the most prominent and reputable property developers in the Cork region, delivering high-quality residential developments, apartment schemes, and large-scale commercial fit-outs. With a strong pipeline of projects across Cork city, they are known for excellence, innovation, and delivering projects to the highest standards.

The Project Manager will take full ownership of the delivery of construction projects from planning through to completion. You will oversee multiple developments including residential housing, apartment buildings, and large-scale fit-out projects, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to specification.

Duties:

• Lead and manage construction projects from inception to handover
• Develop and monitor project programmes, budgets, and resources
• Coordinate and manage site teams, subcontractors, consultants, and stakeholders
• Ensure all works are carried out in compliance with health & safety regulations
• Manage procurement processes and contractor performance
• Identify and mitigate project risks and resolve issues effectively
• Maintain high standards of quality control across all phases of construction
• Provide regular reporting to senior management on project progress
• Ensure projects are delivered within agreed timelines and cost parameters
• Liaise with clients, design teams, and local authorities

Requirements:

• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline
• 5–10+ years’ experience in a Project Manager role within construction/development
• Proven track record delivering residential and/or commercial projects
• Strong knowledge of Irish building regulations and construction practices
• Excellent project planning and organisational skills
• Strong leadership and communication abilities
• Commercial awareness and budget management experience

Salary:

• Salary circa €95k - €105k DOE
