Job Description:
A client/employer of Insight Global is seeking a contractor to help bridge U.S.‑based programs and employee experience initiatives to their Amsterdam office while overseeing onboarding for incoming employees. This role will ensure the current HR processes are effectively localized while maintaining alignment with corporate standards. The ideal candidate brings a human‑centered mindset, operational consistency, and ability to adapt existing global programs to regional culture and context. The position partners closely with U.S. based teams, as well as local Amsterdam leadership, and will serve as a key support point of contact to current and incoming employees.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Localization & Cultural Bridging
- Act as a connector between U.S.‑based teams and the Amsterdam office, helping bridge cultural and process differences.
- Translate corporate programs, engagement initiatives, and onboarding experiences designed in the U.S. so they are effective and meaningful in European offices.
- Assist with adapting messaging, communications, and programming for local audiences.
- Employee Experience & Engagement
- Support opportunities for employee engagement, belonging, and value creation within the local office.
- Apply a human‑centered approach to onboarding, internal communications, and engagement touchpoints.
- Coordinate local events, recognition moments, and engagement initiatives aligned with global programs.
- Help ensure incoming candidates and employees experience a smooth and welcoming journey.
Hiring and Onboarding Initiatives
- Serve as a helper and execution partner for HR team and managers to support processes for a seamless hiring plan.
- Oversee contractor onboarding including documentation, issuance of equipment, welcome box distribution, and system access requests.
- Coordinate with operations partners to implement requirements in a way that creates a positive candidate and employee experience.
Budget and Financial Support
- Partner with international Finance team for monthly reporting and variance analysis
- Provide Purchase Order and contract administration support
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasting
- Prepare summaries and leadership reports as requested
Qualifications
- Experience in employee experience, HR coordination, program implementation, or similar roles.
- Understanding of adapting corporate/global programs to a regional or international setting.
- Strong communication and organizational skills; able to translate intent into action and handle confidential information with discretion.
- Fluent in English; Dutch proficiency is a plus.
- Ability to work alongside HR requirements while shaping a positive experience and environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
