Product Data Manager

At TMC, we are supporting the development of an international Tech Hub based in Lisbon and are looking for a Data Product Manager to lead data products with a strong data‑as‑a‑product mindset.

This role is ideal for someone who can bridge business and data teams, define a clear product vision, and drive delivery through value-driven product management.

🔧 Your Role

• Own and define the product vision for data products
• Manage and prioritize the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals
• Apply a data-as-a-product mindset, treating datasets and platforms as strategic assets
• Work closely with data engineering, data science and business stakeholders
• Translate business needs into data product requirements and use cases
• Drive value delivery, ensuring that data products create measurable business impact
• Define and track product KPIs and success metrics
• Ensure proper documentation, governance and usability of data products

✅ What We Are Looking For

Core Skills

• Strong experience in Data Product Management or similar roles
• Proven ability to define product vision and strategy
• Experience owning and managing product roadmaps
• Solid understanding of data ecosystems (data platforms, pipelines, analytics)
• Experience working closely with data teams (Engineering, Analytics, Science)
• Strong stakeholder management and prioritization skills
• Experience with Agile methodologies

🎯 Key Experience

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in Product Management, Data or related roles
• Proven experience delivering data-driven products
• Strong focus on value-driven product management
• Experience in B2C or digital environments is a strong plus

🌱 Nice to Have

• Familiarity with data governance and data quality concepts
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS or GCP)
• Knowledge of analytics tools or BI platforms
