Senior Data Analyst (Energy Management and IOT)

Key Responsibilities

• Map and maintain the site-wide energy metering hierarchy (site  energy carrier  building  utility system/equipment  meter), including real and virtual meters; define and validate calculation rules based on manufacturing use cases (e.g., roll-ups, allocations, conversions, and yield/efficiency KPIs) to ensure consistent, auditable energy reporting.
• Gather and maintain energy consumption data from various sources, including smart meters and building management systems.
• Analyse large datasets to identify patterns, inefficiencies, and opportunities for energy savings.
• Develop and present regular reports and dashboards to stakeholders, outlining key findings and actionable recommendations.
• Support the implementation of energy-saving initiatives by providing data-driven insights and monitoring impact.
• Ensure compliance with relevant energy regulations and standards.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proven experience in data analysis and visualisation tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Python).
• Understanding of energy management principles and sustainability practices.
• Excellent communication skills in english, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
• Attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• ThingWorx (IIoT) experience is a plus

Desirable Experience

• Previous experience in energy management or environmental analytics.
• Familiarity with energy efficiency standards and regulatory frameworks.
• Experience in project management and stakeholder engagement.
