Security Analyst

We are looking for a Security Analyst to join a Security Operations team in Bucharest. The role focuses on monitoring, investigating, and responding to security incidents within an enterprise environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and investigate security alerts and incidents
• Analyse logs and security events within SIEM platforms
• Perform alert triage and incident response activities
• Work with endpoint detection and security tools
• Collaborate with internal teams on remediation efforts
• Support threat investigation and security monitoring processes
• Document findings, actions, and security-related activities
• Contribute to improving SOC workflows and security processes

Requirements

• 1+ year experience in SOC / Security Operations / Security Analyst roles
• Experience with SIEM platforms and log analysis
• Understanding of incident investigation and alert handling
• Knowledge of Windows and Linux environments
• Basic understanding of networking and infrastructure
• Exposure to cloud environments and/or containers
• Good communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work in a shift-based environment

Nice to have

• Experience with EDR / endpoint security tools
• Exposure to AWS, Azure or GCP
• Scripting knowledge (Python, PowerShell etc.)
• Security certifications (Security+, CEH, CySA+, OSCP etc.)

Shift Structure

• Shift 1: Sunday – Monday – Tuesday – Wednesday
• Shift 2: Wednesday – Thursday – Friday – Saturday
• Working hours: 08:30 – 19:00

📍 Location: Bucharest

📅 Contract: 12 months
