Senior iOS Engineer - Core Experience, Billy

We are looking for a fellow teammate to join our team Billy in Core Experience. In Billy, you will have the opportunity not only to build the Library user experience, which is one of the three main tabs in the mobile app, but also to maintain and evolve the platform behind it and its APIs to enable our stakeholders to save and retrieve different content types in. Alongside that, you will have an impact on surfaces like Liked Songs and Your Episodes when it comes to improving the experience, maintaining them, and supporting bandmates.

As it's natural because of the set of products and systems owned by Billy, we are mostly working on the high priority company initiatives - and often we build new stuff, we prototype and experiment. Therefore, you will work closely with product managers, design, insights, and possibly have the opportunity to lead projects that require cross-team collaboration.

What you'll do:

• Collaborate within our team of Android, iOS, Client Core (C++) and Backend engineers, designers, data scientists and our product manager to continuously experiment, iterate, and deliver on new product objectives.
• Build groundbreaking iOS features that help millions of users to find the session they need for each moment.
• Write clear, maintainable code that will scale across a number of projects and distributed development teams, ensuring quality solutions.
• Contribute to our team processes to make sure we continue improving them and adapting to current needs.
• Help drive performance improvements, testing, and tooling to improve data and systems quality.
  
  

Who you are

• You are a Senior iOS Engineer with 8+ years of iOS development experience.
• You have experience with agentic tools, and are an engineer who adopts agentic-first development. Having prior experience with agentic tools like Claude and Cursor is crucial.
• You are an inclusive colleague and a true great teammate.

• Having some working experience with C++ or Android development is a plus, as you may occasionally build features that span across platforms and codebases.
