Required Technical Skill Set: Java, Kotlin, Android sdk, Android IDE

Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)

Must-Have**

  • Expertise in Kotlin Java
  • Deep Understanding Android Architecture (i.e. lifecycle management and sdk features)
  • Experience in Android Unit Testing
  • Proficient with Android Studio
  • App Architectures and Design Patterns like MVVM, Clean architecture
  • Knowledge of AndroidX, ViewModel, LiveData, Flows
  • Good Gradle Flavour Understanding
  • Knowledge of JSON, web-services, REST, security, Retrofit, Dagger2, HILT
  • XML understanding
  • Jetpack Compose

Good-to-Have

  • Experience with CI-CD Pipeline - preferably Azure
  • Experience with Source Code Management preferably with Azure
