DevOps Engineer

We are looking for a skilled and proactive DevOps Engineer to join our growing technology team in Istanbul (European Side – İkitelli). This is a hybrid position with 1 day per week office attendance.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Kubernetes, AWS EKS, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, and modern cloud-native ecosystem tools. We are especially looking for professionals with solid production-level AWS and Kubernetes expertise.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage and maintain Kubernetes clusters in production environments
• Perform cluster installation, upgrade, monitoring, and troubleshooting activities
• Develop and manage Helm Charts and GitOps processes with ArgoCD
• Install and maintain Istio, Harbor, Nexus, and Grafana Stack components
• Build and manage CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) processes
• Manage AWS cloud infrastructure, especially EKS-based environments
• Implement backup, monitoring, logging, and automation solutions
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to improve deployment and operational processes
• Ensure platform scalability, reliability, security, and performance

TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS

• Strong hands-on experience with; Kubernetes, Terraform, Helm, Jenkins, ArgoCD, Istio
• AWS services knowledge including; VPC, EKS, AMI, S3, EFS, EBS, ECR, AWS Secrets Manager
• Experience with; Harbor, Nexus, Velero, SonarQube, Karpenter, Grafana Stack (Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, Alert manager, etc.)
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation-first approaches
• Strong understanding of containerization and cloud-native architectures
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices
• Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and observability solutions
• Familiarity with Linux systems and scripting
• Problem-solving mindset and strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within agile teams

NECESSITIES

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes and AWS environments
• Strong production-level experience with AWS EKS
• Experience managing enterprise-scale Kubernetes infrastructures
• Ability to work in a hybrid model (1 day/week office attendance in Istanbul – İkitelli)
• Intermediate or higher level English communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related fields is preferred
