We are looking for an AI Product Engineer to join our Data Analytics team. You'll work with the product lead, who owns the product vision; you own the platform's architecture and implementation.

What will be expected of you in this role?

Platform & Application Development

• Build the Digital Design Platform across backend and frontend
• Design scalable architectures, APIs, and data models supporting AI-powered workflows
• Build intuitive user interfaces enabling designers to upload sketches, generate outputs, and collaborate with suppliers

AI / ML Integration

• Integrate computer vision and generative AI models for photorealistic image and video generation
• Build LLM-based pipelines to extract structured technical specifications from sketch inputs
• Monitor model performance, manage versioning, and ensure continuous improvement of AI outputs
• Stay up to date with the evolving GenAI landscape and introduce relevant innovations into the platform

Product & Stakeholder Collaboration

• Work closely with product, design, and data teams to translate business needs into technical solutions
• Actively contribute to product roadmap and feature definition
• Ensure developed solutions align with real user workflows and create tangible business value

Ownership & Delivery

• Own the full technology stack of the platform end-to-end
• Iterate quickly, deliver working solutions, and continuously improve based on user feedback
• Act as a problem solver, ensuring smooth project execution and high-quality delivery

You are expected to do

• Make and justify architectural decisions with technical reasoning
• Collaborate closely with non-technical users to ensure usability and adoption
• Explore and implement new AI/ML-driven improvements
• Deliver scalable and production-ready solutions in a fast-paced environment

You are NOT expected to do

• Train AI models from scratch; focus is on integration and fine-tuning of existing models
• Handle repetitive operational tasks of completed features alone
• Have prior fashion or textile experience; curiosity and willingness to learn are sufficient

Skills required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in software engineering and AI-enabled application development
• Full-stack experience with React, TypeScript, and Node.js, including REST API design
• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, DynamoDB)
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Hands-on experience integrating AI/ML or GenAI models into production systems
• Familiarity with LLMs, prompt engineering, and structured data extraction workflows
• Ability to understand complex business needs and translate them into scalable technical solutions
• Good communication and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Day-to-day team language is Turkish; good English for technical communication

Nice to have

• Experience with MLOps practices (deployment, monitoring, A/B testing)
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes or containerized environments
• Experience working in startup or agile product teams
• Background in retail, fashion, or consumer products industries
