UI/UX Internship

Key responsibilities

Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes
Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights for design improvement
Collaborate with managers and developers to ensure seamless integration of UI/UX design
Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standards
Iterate on designs based on feedback, user testing, and data analysis
Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in UI/UX design
Develop personas, user journeys, and information architecture
Assist in creating and maintaining a cohesive visual language and design systems
Advocate for the user and ensure that design decisions are based on user needs and behaviors
Communicate design concepts and ideas to stakeholders effectively
Collaborate with marketing and development teams for cohesive brand and user experience
Conduct competitor analysis and benchmarking to ensure designs are cutting-edge
Work closely with front-end developers to ensure technical feasibility and smooth handover of designs

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or related field
Demonstrated experience in UI/UX design for web and mobile applications
Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, or Figma
Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices
Experience conducting user research and usability testing
Solid knowledge of interaction design and information architecture
Ability to create and maintain design systems and component libraries
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies
Strong portfolio showcasing UI/UX design projects and problem-solving abilities
Experience working with Agile development methodologies
Understanding of front-end development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Experience with motion design and micro-interactions is a plus
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
