Researcher - Machine Learning and AI

Microsoft Research India is inviting applications for researcher and post-doctoral researcher positions. A research position at Microsoft Research India offers an opportunity to be at the forefront of Computer Science research and technology development, and work with worldclass colleagues on meaningful research problems.

We are looking for exceptional candidates with a demonstrated track record in AI/ML, including new models, scalable ML architectures, systems support for such workloads, and innovative large-scale applications of ML models. Projects in the lab are inter-disciplinary and span across research areas such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, natural language processing, information retrieval, systems, theory, and related areas. Responsibilities

As a Researcher, you will collaborate with other researchers and Microsoft product development teams to:

• Advance the state-of-the-art and publish research openly in prestigious venues.
• Influence Microsoft products and catalyze the design of new products used by billions of users.
• Drive research end-to-end towards meaningful impact.
  
  

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Computer Science or related disciplines
  
  

Additional Qualifications

• A well-established research agenda as evidenced by high quality publications.
• A track record of innovation and impact that is commensurate with experience and seniority.
