The Role

  • Develop, test, and maintain robust front-end architectures using JavaScript and TypeScript.
  • Implement designs using tools such as Node and Nunjucks, ensuring consistency across platforms.
  • Collaborate closely with back-end developers and other team members to integrate APIs effectively.
  • Employ Test-Driven Development (TDD) practises to ensure quality and reliability.
  • Work within the guidelines of the Government Digital Service (GDS) to ensure compliance.
  • Contribute to the project lifecycle from planning through deployment in a collaborative environment.

What You'll Need

  • Proven experience in frontend development, particularly within the financial services sector.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript, with an emphasis on front-end technologies.
  • Strong understanding of Node and Nunjucks.
  • Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD).
  • Familiarity with API integration and development.
  • Knowledge of Government Digital Service (GDS) standards is highly desirable.
