Job Overview
We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate & creative Software Engineer to join our team in Victoria, BC. We re looking for someone with full stack development experience to help with the development of new applications in the Power and Energy Management space.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using .NET technologies and modern web frameworks
- Build and integrate RESTful web services and backend systems
- Collaborate within agile teams to deliver working software in each sprint
- Contribute to software design, troubleshooting, automation, and continuous delivery processes
- Develop secure, reliable, and high-quality software solutions
- Support test automation initiatives using tools such as Selenium or Cypress
- Contribute to cloud-based solutions within the Azure environment
- Continuously improve development tools, processes, and engineering practices
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
- Experience in software development using C#.NET, ASP.NET, HTML/CSS/JavaScript, Angular, RESTful web services, WCF, and SQL Server
- Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium or Cypress
- Understanding of agile development methodologies
- Knowledge of continuous delivery and automation systems
- Experience working with Azure cloud technologies
- Experience with power monitoring or energy management systems
- Knowledge of real-time data processing and analytics
- Strong full-stack development experience
- Ability to solve design challenges with innovative approaches
- Experience contributing across multiple areas of the software delivery lifecycle
