Important Details:

• Employment Type: Contract (12-month term with possible extension)
• Schedule/Shift: Monday-Friday, 8:15 AM-4:30 PM (local time), 36.25 hours/week
• Location: Primarily Remote/Hybrid, occasional in-office attendance required for scheduled meetings
• Pay Range: CAD $75-$85 per hour

Responsibilities Include:

• Validate and test data models, canonical definitions, and business object designs using real-world datasets to ensure alignment with business operations.
• Analyze data quality, measurement comparability, unit normalization, and temporal consistency while identifying opportunities for standardization and improvement.
• Develop analytical prototypes and exploratory reporting solutions to evaluate aggregation behavior, trend stability, scalability, and reporting feasibility.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to identify edge cases, provide evidence-based recommendations, and support enterprise data architecture decisions.
• Translate business and data requirements into actionable analytical solutions and insights.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of direct hands-on experience performing business requirements analysis, solution analysis, and data-related business analysis activities.
• 3+ years of experience designing, developing, and optimizing advanced Power BI dashboards, reports, and analytical solutions.
• Strong understanding of data modeling, data validation, data quality assessment, and business intelligence best practices.
• Experience working with large and complex datasets, conducting analytical investigations, and communicating findings to business stakeholders.
• Degree or diploma in Information Technology, Business, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field.
