Trading Platform Support Analyst (Front Office / Client-Facing)
We are looking for a Trading Platform Support Analyst to join a front-office facing support team within a capital markets environment. This role sits at the intersection of trading, technology, and client engagement, supporting both internal stakeholders and external clients on trading platform functionality and usage.
You will act as a key point of contact during client discussions and platform walkthroughs, helping explain how trading systems operate in real trading scenarios. This is not a back-office-only support role — it requires direct exposure to trading workflows and the ability to engage confidently in client-facing situations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide frontline support for trading platforms, covering both internal users and external clients
- Participate in client meetings and platform demonstrations, explaining system functionality and trade workflows
- Support onboarding and adoption of trading systems, ensuring users understand execution, booking, and post-trade processes
- Troubleshoot and resolve trading platform issues, including order flow, pricing, connectivity, and trade lifecycle queries
- Act as a bridge between Sales, Trading, and Technology teams, translating business requirements into technical or system requirements
- Work closely with developers and engineers to escalate, diagnose, and resolve production issues
- Support incident management, ensuring timely communication and resolution of platform outages or trading disruptions
- Assist in platform enhancements, UAT testing, and system rollout activities
- Document issues, workflows, and platform behavior to improve internal knowledge base and user understanding
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in financial markets, trading support, application support, or front-office operations
- Prior exposure to trading environments (equities, derivatives, FX, or similar) strongly preferred
- Comfortable working in client-facing or stakeholder-facing situations
- Strong understanding of trading workflows and platform mechanics (order entry, execution, trade lifecycle, etc.)
- Basic understanding of programming or scripting languages (e.g. SQL, Python, or similar) is highly advantageous
- Ability to act as a communication bridge between business and technical teams
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure during market hours or incidents
- Clear communicator with the ability to explain technical concepts in a simple, business-friendly way
Nice to Have
- Experience with trading systems, OMS/EMS, or brokerage platforms
- Exposure to production support or live trading environments
- Familiarity with market data, risk systems, or post-trade processing
- Experience working in a fast-paced, real-time trading environment
