Head of Data Analytics & AI

Responsibilities:

• We’re looking for an exceptional regional leader to drive the next generation of data, analytics, and AI innovation across Asia Pacific.
• This is a high-impact executive opportunity for someone passionate about turning data into strategic business value, influencing enterprise transformation, and leading cutting-edge AI initiatives at scale.
• As a key member of the regional leadership team, you will define and execute the organization’s data and AI vision across multiple markets, partnering closely with senior business leaders to unlock growth, improve operational performance, and accelerate digital innovation.
• You’ll play a pivotal role in building scalable AI capabilities, advancing analytics maturity, and embedding a truly data-driven culture across the region — while collaborating with clients, partners, and cross-functional teams to create meaningful commercial impact.
• Strategic Leadership & AI Vision
• Define and lead the regional data, analytics, and AI strategy aligned to business growth priorities and global transformation objectives.
• Act as a trusted advisor to executive leadership on AI adoption, advanced analytics, and enterprise data strategy.
• Champion innovation and foster a culture where data and AI drive smarter decision-making across the organization.
• Identify and build high-value use cases that improve profitability, operational efficiency, customer experience, and risk management.
• Enterprise Collaboration & Influence
• Partner with senior stakeholders across underwriting, claims, finance, technology, marketing, and operations to prioritize impactful AI and analytics initiatives.
• Collaborate with commercial and consumer business leaders to translate complex business challenges into scalable data solutions.
• Engage directly with clients, brokers, and strategic partners to co-create data and AI capabilities that drive competitive advantage.
• Act as the regional bridge between local markets and global data & AI teams to accelerate innovation and best-practice adoption.
• AI, Analytics & Data Transformation
• Lead the design, implementation, and scaling of advanced analytics, machine learning, generative AI, NLP, and enterprise data solutions across Asia Pacific.
• Drive adoption of modern cloud-based data platforms, scalable architectures, and AI-enabled decisioning capabilities.
• Ensure robust delivery frameworks for data governance, AI risk management, model monitoring, quality, security, and regulatory compliance.
• Measure and communicate the business value and ROI generated through data and AI investments.
• Leadership & Talent Development
• Inspire and lead high-performing regional teams across data engineering, analytics, AI, and data science functions.
• Build future-ready capabilities through coaching, hiring, mentoring, and organizational development.
• Foster a collaborative, innovative, and high-performance culture across geographically distributed teams.

Requirements:

• Experience & Leadership
• Extensive leadership experience in data, analytics, and AI within financial services, insurance, banking, or other highly regulated industries.
• Proven success driving enterprise-wide transformation and delivering large-scale AI and analytics initiatives across multiple countries.
• Strong track record managing senior stakeholders and influencing executive decision-making in complex global organizations.
• Experience leading multicultural and geographically dispersed teams across Asia Pacific.
• Technical & AI Expertise
• Deep expertise in modern data ecosystems including cloud platforms, lakehouse architectures, ETL/ELT pipelines, and enterprise data management.
• Hands-on understanding of machine learning, generative AI, LLMs, NLP, feature engineering, and deploying AI models into production.
• Strong knowledge of AI governance, model risk management, data lineage, privacy, and regulatory frameworks.
• Ability to translate technical AI capabilities into measurable commercial outcomes.
