Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Golang Developer to lead the design and development of high-performance, scalable backend systems. This role involves building microservices, optimizing distributed architectures, and mentoring junior developers. You will work closely with product owners and DevOps teams to deliver secure, reliable, and cloud-native solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and develop backend services using Go (Golang) for high-traffic, mission-critical applications.
• Design and implement microservices and APIs with a focus on scalability and maintainability.
• Optimize performance for concurrent workloads using goroutines and channels.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on cloud deployments (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Ensure security best practices for handling sensitive data and compliance requirements.
• Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and mentor junior engineers.
• Participate in technical planning, backlog refinement, and sprint execution.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in production environments.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Professional understanding of Go idioms, concurrency patterns, and standard libraries.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, gRPC, and event-driven architectures.
• Proficiency in containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and automated testing frameworks.
• Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Solid grasp of system architecture, design patterns, and performance tuning.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with distributed systems and high-availability architectures.
• Exposure to cloud-native development and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform).
• Understanding of security protocols, data encryption, and compliance standards.
• Prior experience in mentoring teams and driving technical excellence.
