We are looking for an experienced Senior .NET Developer to join our team in Jersey City. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of hands-on experience designing, developing, and supporting enterprise-grade applications using the Microsoft technology stack. This role requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced onsite environment.

About the Role

The Senior .NET Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining scalable .NET applications.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable .NET applications
• Build and enhance web-based and backend enterprise solutions
• Develop RESTful APIs and microservices architectures
• Collaborate with business analysts, QA teams, and stakeholders to gather requirements
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues
• Participate in code reviews and enforce development best practices
• Create technical documentation and support deployment activities
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to team growth

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional experience with .NET development
• Strong expertise in C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core/.NET 6+
• Experience building REST APIs and microservices
• Strong understanding of SQL Server and database design
• Experience with front-end technologies such as Angular, React, or JavaScript
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies
• Strong analytical, debugging, and communication skills

Preferred Skills

• Experience in financial services or enterprise environments
• Knowledge of containerization tools such as Docker or Kubernetes
• Familiarity with message queues and event-driven architecture
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field

Pay range and compensation package

Location: Jersey City, NJ
