We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to support the day-to-day accounting operations of our regional office in Oman. The role will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, handling reconciliations, supporting reporting activities, and ensuring smooth financial operations in coordination with the local and regional finance teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle day-to-day accounting activities and financial transactions for the Oman office.
- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies.
- Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) reconciliations.
- Process supplier payments and employee-related reimbursements in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly Profit & Loss statements and Balance Sheet reports.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders on finance-related matters.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and local regulations.
- Assist with audits and provide required financial documentation when needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably within retail, FMCG, or regional operations.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Experience in bank reconciliation, AR/AP management, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.
- Good analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred
- Experience working in a multi-entity or regional business environment.
- Knowledge of GCC accounting practices and compliance requirements.
