Product Manager - E-Commerce Payments - Hybrid 3 days pw in office - 6 Month Contract

$700 - $1000pd inclusive of super

I am exclusively partnered with a leading consultancy who are looking for a Technical Product Manager to start immediately on an initial 6 month contract with high possibility of extension.

You will be managing the E-Commerce Connected Payments platform - responsible for ensuring the platform is fit for purpose for one of their major banking clients.

Looking for someone to start immediately, interviews will be one stage and begin next week with the end client

What You Will Be Doing:

• Lead the end‑to‑end product lifecycle from discovery and problem framing through to delivery, optimisation, and scaling
• Define and evolve the payments roadmap across checkout, authorisation, clearing, and settlement flows
• Analyse performance metrics (conversion, approval rates, cost-to-serve) to identify opportunities and drive measurable improvements.
• Partner closely with Engineering, Risk, Operations, Sales, and GTM teams to deliver high‑quality, compliant, and commercially impactful solutions
• Work directly with merchants, partners, and internal stakeholders to understand needs, validate assumptions, and shape product direction

What You Bring:

• MUST HAVE: Experience within Enterprise Banking or Fintech companies as a product manager for Payments
• Strong understanding of end-to-end payment flows, checkout, authorisation, clearing, settlement across online channels.
• Proven ability to define roadmaps, prioritise features, make trade-offs, and drive product strategy with clear commercial outcomes.
• Hands-on familiarity with Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Eftpos, including interchange, tokenisation, 3DS, and their merchant impact.
• Knowledge of PCI DSS, scheme rules, and risk governance.
