About the Role
Novita is seeking a proactive and collaborative People and Culture Business Partner to join our People team, based at our Hindmarsh office. This full-time position plays a key role in supporting managers and staff across the organisation, providing expert advice and practical assistance across a broad range of P&C functions.
You’ll partner with leaders to drive positive outcomes in employee relations, performance management, case management, compliance and continuous improvement.

About the Role
Novita is seeking a proactive and collaborative People and Culture Business Partner to join our People team, based at our Hindmarsh office. This full-time position plays a key role in supporting managers and staff across the organisation, providing expert advice and practical assistance across a broad range of P&C functions.
You’ll partner with leaders to drive positive outcomes in employee relations, performance management, case management, compliance and continuous improvement.
As a Business Partner, You Will Be Responsible For
- Providing advice and support to managers on day-to-day P&C issues
- Partnering with leaders to manage underperformance and misconduct, including investigations and improvement plans
- Coach and mentor managers on employment laws, awards, agreements and company policies and procedures
- Manage complex workplace relations issues, supporting managers to conduct employee investigations, ensuring fairness and due process
- Collaborating on incident management and facilitate the return-to-work processes
- Undertaking and delivering initiatives and projects to support organisational change initiatives
- Supporting the growth of P&C team members through knowledge sharing and collaboration
- Contributing to a positive, continuously improving and safe work environment
- Contributing to the development, implementation and monitoring of P&C policies and procedures
- Assisting in ensuring the organisation's compliance with workplace-related laws
- Maintaining HRIS records and seek opportunities for improvement
What you’ll bring

You’re a confident, empathetic and thrive in a dynamic environment. You bring a solutions-focused mindset, strong communication skills and a commitment to integrity and confidentiality, in addition to:
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline (such as human resources/business/psychology) or equivalent experience
- Experience partnering with senior operational leaders
- Experience leading complex investigations and sensitive employee matters
- Strong coaching, influencing and communication skills
- Strong ER/IR capability, knowledge of Australian employment law and experience interpreting awards and enterprise agreements
- Strong problem-solving, planning and project management skills
- Ability to work both autonomously and cooperatively
- Commitment to confidentiality, professional standards and a proactive approach
- Current NDIS Worker Check and SA Working with Children Check
