Fund Manager

NAX Capital is seeking an experienced and driven Fund Manager to join our growing team in Melbourne CBD and play a key role in the operation and growth of the FUND.

The opportunity

Reporting to the Chief Investment Officer (CIO), the successful candidate will handle client onboarding and offboarding, manage compliance and administrative processes through our AFSL provider, oversee investor relations, and support the CIO and the trading team in maintaining high standards of reporting, regulatory compliance, and transparency.

This role is ideal for a professional with strong experience in fund management, operations, compliance, and financial services regulation.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the provision of financial services as Responsible Manager in respect of the digital asset brokerage business and the FUND

• Lead onboarding and offboarding of clients into/out of the FUND

• Oversee compliance and administrative processes through our AFSL provider

• Promote the FUND through events, networking, and investor engagement initiatives

• Monitor and support the CIO and trading team to ensure accurate reporting, regulatory compliance, and transparent client communications

• Maintain and enhance internal processes, controls, and documentation

• Liaise with service providers, counterparties, and regulators as required

• Contribute to the ongoing development of the FUND’s investor experience and operational excellence

Responsible Manager authorisations

The FUND will operate under an AFSL, and the successful candidate may qualify as a Responsible Manager for one or more of the following authorisations:

Financial product advice

✔ Provide general financial product advice (Retail)

✔ Provide general and personal financial product advice (Wholesale)

Dealing in financial products

✔ Deal by issuing (Wholesale)

✔ Dealing on behalf of another in respect of a financial product (Retail & Wholesale)

✔ Dealing on behalf of another in respect of a financial product (Wholesale)

Custodial & depository Services

✔ Provide custodial and depository services (Retail & Wholesale)

✔ Provide custodial and depository services (Wholesale)

Market Making

✔ Make a market in financial products (Retail & Wholesale)

✔ Make a market in financial products (Wholesale)

Financial products may include:

• Securities
• Managed investment schemes
• Facilities for making non-cash payments
• Derivatives
• FX and financial investment facilities

What you bring

• Proven experience managing a fund or working within a fund management team

• Strong understanding of fund operations, compliance, and regulatory requirements

• Experience with client onboarding/offboarding and fund administration

• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and networking skills

• High attention to detail with a strong commitment to transparency and integrity

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in finance, business, law, or related fields preferred

• Alignment with NAX CAPITAL’s vision and culture
