Team
You will be a key creative leader within a newly established internal studio, a dynamic and focused team dedicated to developing and scaling some of our most exciting puzzle game titles. This studio is specifically chartered to take high-potential puzzle games and elevate them into polished, market-ready experiences that resonate with players worldwide.
In this role, you'll lead the artistic direction across our puzzle game portfolio, setting the visual standard and guiding a team of artists to ensure consistency, quality, and creative ambition across all titles. Puzzle games demand a precise and thoughtful visual language, from clear iconography and satisfying feedback animations to cohesive UI and world aesthetics, and you will be the person accountable for delivering and championing that standard.
You'll have the opportunity to shape the growth and visual identity of our puzzle titles from the ground up, leveraging their existing traction to build truly exceptional player experiences. Role
- Lead the art development for your puzzle titles, establishing and evolving the visual identity in close collaboration with the General Manager.
- Provide clear, constructive feedback to artists on the team, maintaining a high and consistent quality bar across all deliverables.
- Create and maintain a comprehensive UI Style Bible and reusable component libraries for use across the team.
- Create high-quality 3D/2D assets (characters, props and environment art) and ensure optimal performance across mobile devices.
- Iterate quickly based on team feedback and live user data.
- Champion creative ideas that boost player engagement and improve the user experience, setting an example for the wider team.
- Proven experience leading or mentoring artists, with the ability to give feedback that is direct, actionable and creatively elevating.
- Strong Unity skills, with the ability to implement and optimise directly in engine.
- Excellent 3D/2D design skills, with a keen eye for visual hierarchy, composition, and readability.
- Experience contributing to or owning an art direction, including style guide creation and asset pipeline standards.
- Experience with A/B testing or working with LiveOps features.
- A keen eye for emerging mobile game trends, with the ability to creatively deconstruct and learn from success cases.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional remote teams.
- Fluent in English.
