The Role

TCS seeks an experienced Power BI Developer to deliver and shape critical reporting and data management activities for an exciting project in the financial services sector.

You will work with an SDM team member to document and manage program reporting and data transformation activities. The role includes enhancing existing reporting and data management components to align with the future-state strategy and governance models.

This role requires both technical data analytics expertise as well as documentation and organisation of the following key areas of focus:

• Power BI Dashboard Management & Data Transformation: Supporting Power BI - dashboard design (including data transformations), troubleshooting and validation.
• Reporting & Data Governance: Business requirements, process flow, issue and exception management, and SOPs.

Your responsibilities:

• Maintaining an existing suite of Power BI reports
• Development of New Power BI report under business requirements
• Understand the Data Management Components
• Support development of Business Requirements
• Report analysis and Presentation development
• Migration of existing BO & SAP Reports to Power BI

Your Profile

Essential skills/knowledge/experience:

• Power BI data visualization and data analytics
• Includes, analyzing structured and unstructured data using data visualization, manipulation, and statistical methods to identify patterns, anomalies, relationships, and trends Advanced Excel
• MS Report Builder expertise is a must.
• Process Automation and data transformations
• Advanced knowledge of Excel
• Includes acquiring data from disparate data sources using API's, SQL
• Includes transforming data using Power Query (necessary), SQL, Python and/or VBA.
• Metric and dashboard development including gathering requirements from business owners
• Reporting presentation development

Desirable skills/knowledge/experience:

• A risk and control mindset and an ability to learn new skills and knowledge through self-initiation
• Strong written and oral communication skills, as well as a good listener. Demonstrated ability to present complex information with simplicity across technical and operational levels.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to strategize on objectives, e.g., reporting.
• Ability to create, manage, and organize documents effectively that supports knowledge transfer and decision making.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to be customer-focused when creating solutions.
