We are searching for a Frontend Developer to join ou Center of Competence, in Aveiro, working for Sqills Projects.

Sqills, part of Siemens Mobility, is a leading technology company focused on providing innovative solutions for the public transport industry. With a commitment to excellence, we are dedicated to improving the passenger experience and increasing operational efficiency for our clients across the globe.

Your Role:

  • Develop and maintain scalable and robust software components using Typescript, React, and Go.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following industry standards.
  • Participate in the design and development of new features and capabilities for the S3 Passenger platform.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and ensure timely delivery of high-quality software.
  • Identify and troubleshoot technical issues and bugs, and provide solutions to complex problems.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in web development technologies and programming languages.
  • Occasional business travel to the Netherlands and/or other locations may be required.

Your Profile:

  • University degree in Information Technology or related area.
  • Good experience in web development, for example using Typescript, React, and Go.
  • Excellent knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Good understanding of software development best practices, including unit testing, continuous integration, and continuous deployment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and to manage multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
  • Good problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think outside the box and find creative solutions to complex problems.
