About you

We are seeking a Product Manager or experienced Senior Product Manager who is passionate about developing financial products that effectively address customer needs and scale across multiple markets. You are a strategic thinker with strong execution skills, comfortable working at the intersection of technology, regulation, design, and operations.

You excel at transforming complex business and user needs into simple, intuitive digital products. You’re experienced in leading cross-functional teams, defining clear product requirements, and ensuring seamless delivery from discovery to launch. With a strong understanding of financial services workflows, you enjoy working in fast-paced environments.

What’s the role

As a Product Manager at Rauva, you will play a key role in shaping the foundation of Rauva solutions as a future tech bank.

You will own your product area end-to-end, from strategy and roadmap to execution and continuous improvement. This is a unique opportunity to build regulated financial products from the ground up, in a company preparing to operate with a full European banking license.

Your Responsibilities

• Own the roadmap, vision, and strategy for your product domain, aligned with Rauva’s transition into a full-fledged tech bank.
• Drive structured product discovery, researching customer needs, market gaps, regulatory requirements, and commercial opportunities.
• Translate business objectives and user insights into clear product requirements, functional specs, and user stories.
• Manage cross-functional teams (Engineering, UX, Risk, Compliance, Operations) to deliver high-quality, scalable products.
• Manage the product development lifecycle: discovery → prioritization → build → launch → iteration.
• Monitor product performance using analytics and KPIs, identifying improvements and optimizing the customer experience.
• Ensure regulatory, compliance, and risk standards are integrated into product design and delivery.
• Work with internal stakeholders to ensure product adoption, operational readiness, and seamless customer experiences.

What’s your ideal background?

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or related field

Experience

• 5+ years of product management experience in financial services or fintech
• Experience building and scaling financial products across multiple geographies is a strong plus
• Portuguese market knowledge is highly valued
• Background in digitization, automation programs, or fintech platforms is advantageous
• Proven experience leading cross-functional teams including engineering and UX/design

Technical & Domain Expertise

• Proven track record of developing and launching successful financial products from concept to market
• Extensive experience using AI tools to accelerate the workload.
• Strong experience in requirements design, writing detailed specifications, and creating product roadmaps
• Deep understanding of financial services operations and customer needs
• Strong knowledge of financial product workflows and regulatory requirements
• Experience navigating compliance and risk management frameworks
• Hands-on experience with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and product development frameworks

Skills & Competencies

• Data-driven decision maker who leverages analytics and insights to shape product strategy
• Excellent leadership skills with demonstrated ability to lead and motivate engineering and UX teams
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and user stories
• Proactive, adaptable, and thrives in fast-paced, dynamic environments
• Customer-centric mindset with experience translating user insights into product features
• Excellent communication skills bridging business and technical teams
