Data Scientist

At TMC , we are supporting the growth of an international Tech Hub in Lisbon and are currently looking for a Data Scientist to turn data into actionable insights that drive business impact.

This role is ideal for someone with strong experience working with data at scale, especially in digital and customer-centric (B2C) environments, combining technical expertise with a clear business mindset.

🔧 Your Role

• Build and maintain machine learning models to support business decisions
• Explore and analyze datasets to uncover trends, behaviors and opportunities
• Translate business challenges into data use cases and analytical solutions
• Work closely with data engineering, product and business teams
• Support model deployment and ensure ongoing monitoring and improvement
• Communicate results and insights to stakeholders in a clear and structured way

✅ What We Are Looking For

Technical Skills

• Strong proficiency in Python and key data science libraries (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn)
• Solid understanding of machine learning techniques and model evaluation
• Experience with data preparation, feature engineering and analysis workflows
• Good knowledge of SQL and working with large datasets
• Experience in cloud environments (Azure, AWS or GCP)
• Understanding of how models integrate within data pipelines and systems

🎯 Key Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Data Science or similar roles
• Experience delivering end-to-end data solutions in production environments
• Strong preference for profiles with experience in:
• Digital marketing ecosystems
• B2C businesses (e.g., e-commerce, customer data, growth analytics)

🌱 Nice to Have

• Experience with MLOps or model lifecycle management
• Familiarity with Big Data tools (e.g., Spark)
• Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau or similar)
