Senior Backend Developer (Node.js)

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Backend Developer (Node.js) who is passionate about building reliable backend systems and scalable services that power high-volume mobile and web applications.

What You’ll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable backend systems using Node.js.
• Collaborate closely with frontend and mobile teams to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Build, maintain, and optimize RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Ensure high performance, availability, and scalability of applications.
• Design and manage database schemas and data models, working with both SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and debug backend systems to ensure smooth operation.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and continuously improve backend infrastructure and code quality.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience developing backend systems using Node.js.
• Strong expertise in Node.js, Express.js, and modern backend frameworks.
• Solid understanding of REST API design and development.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, and/or MySQL.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+) and asynchronous programming patterns.
• Understanding of software engineering best practices, including clean code, OOP principles, and design patterns.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
