Generative AI Engineer

Position Summary

We are looking for a Generative AI Engineer who will play a key role in building AI-driven products and solutions from scratch. This role will focus on developing LLM-based applications, AI agents, chatbots, and intelligent automation solutions using Microsoft Azure AI Foundry and OpenAI technologies.

The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with hands-on experience in Generative AI, Python development, and scalable AI architectures, while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative and impactful AI solutions.

Key Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Industrial Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics Engineering, Management Information Systems, or related fields
• Minimum 5 years of experience in artificial intelligence, machine learning, generative AI, or data-driven application development
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure AI Foundry, including building and deploying LLM and ML models, and developing AI agents on the platform
• Hands-on experience with OpenAI APIs, ChatGPT, and Azure OpenAI services
• Strong proficiency in Python and modern software development technologies
• Deep knowledge of LLMs (Large Language Models), prompt engineering, RAG pipelines, vector databases, and AI agent architectures
• Solid understanding of REST API development and integration processes
• Experience with SQL and data management
• Familiarity with Git, Docker, and cloud platforms — particularly Azure; AWS or GCP is a plus
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Good command of English
• Based in Istanbul or willing to relocate

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy AI agents and LLM/ML-based solutions using Microsoft Azure AI Foundry
• Develop and integrate AI-powered applications into existing systems and digital platforms
• Build LLM-based chatbots, AI agents, and knowledge management systems leveraging Azure AI Foundry frameworks
• Design automation and AI-driven solutions to improve operational efficiency and user experience
• Develop scalable AI workflows involving prompt engineering, RAG pipelines, and intelligent orchestration architectures
• Manage API integrations and backend development processes
• Analyze business needs and translate them into scalable and sustainable technical solutions
• Optimize AI model performance, data workflows, and system reliability
• Follow emerging AI technologies, models, and industry trends to propose innovative solutions
• Ensure system performance, security, and sustainability
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product, mobile, business, and academic stakeholders
