Senior Java Developer (hybrid or remote)

Role Resposibilities:

• Develop new product`s functionality (finance sector)

• Participate in software development lifecycle by analyzing and implementing business requirements

• Prioritize, assign and execute tasks throughout the software development life cycle

• Deliver well-designed, optimized and scalable code, using best software development practices

• Take full responsibility of solutions (from design to deployment)

• Solve architectural questions together with the team

• Continuously contribute to improve the way of working in the team

• Communicate and collaborate with other team members and with off-site teams

Your Expertise:

• Expected knowledge to have (or close alternatives)

• Proven experience of at least 10 years in Java-based software development

• A degree in IT, computer science or a related subject

• Strong knowledge of Core Java (8 and up), Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and relational databases

• Experience developing SOAP and RESTful web services

• Strong knowledge of Jakarta EE (former Java EE)

• Strong communication and collaboration skills

• Ability to document technical details clearly

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

• Lithuanian and English language skills

Nice to have:

• Experience in messaging technologies (Kafka and RabbitMQ)

• Knowledge of service-oriented architecture (SOA) and microservices principles

• Experience in testing and mocking frameworks

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum, familiarity with Agile tools (e.g., Jira)

• Familiarity with build tools such as Maven or Gradle

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g. Azure, etc.)

• Knowledge of MicroProfile, OpenTelemetry
