We are on the lookout for a/an Front-end developer to join our team for working with European Institutions based in Brussels in an near site position.

For this position you would be working with our client from the European institutions.

DIGIT.A.3 aims to provide digital business solutions for the European Commission, its stakeholders, and public administrations in Member States, collaborating with other Commission services. These solutions enhance the Commission’s efficiency by leveraging IT business solutions.

The unit focuses on developing information systems in areas like document management, knowledge management, crisis management, the internal decision-making process, and the European Citizen's Initiative. DIGIT.A.3 manages the entire development lifecycle, including feasibility studies, business requirements, process modeling, analysis, development, testing, and deployment, along with training, support, and promotional campaigns.

Your role

• Development of front end interface
• Integration of user-facing elements with server side logic.
• Implement some core business logic.
• Optimization of the application for maximum speed and scalability.
• Design and develop custom components when needed
• Participating in the design and creation of scalable software.
• Taking lead on projects, as needed.
• Maintenance of code integrity and organisation.
• Writing clean, functional code.
• Testing and fixing bugs or other coding issues
• Meet both technical and consumer needs.

Requirements:

Who We Think You Are

• At least 5 years of specific expertise in Angular
• At least 5 years of specific expertise in JavaScript
• Proficiency with frontHTMP, Javascript, Angular, jQuery
• Very good knowledge of CSS technology
• Knowledge of JAVA
• Strong understanding of the web development cycle and programming techniques and tools.
• Familiarity with database technology such as Oracle, MongoDB.
• Knowledge of code versioning tools such as Git or SVN.
• Ability to work efficiently and fast
• Ability to give business and technical presentations
• Ability to apply high quality standards
• Very good communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences
• Analysis and problem solving skills
• Capability to write clear and structured technical documents
• Ability to participate in technical meetings and good communication skills
