What you will be working on

GovTech is seeking a motivated Product Manager to lead the development and enhancement of a critical government platforms. This role involves defining product vision, strategy, and roadmap to deliver impactful digital services to citizens.

As a Product Manager, you will hold significant ownership over your product domain, driving it from concept to reality while aligning with the broader programme goals. Your core responsibilities include:

• Define and articulate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap, aligning with GovTech's strategic objectives and citizen needs.
• Conduct thorough user research, market analysis, and competitive landscape assessment to identify opportunities and inform product decisions.
• Translate user needs and business requirements into detailed product specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Prioritize features and initiatives based on impact, feasibility, and strategic alignment, managing the product backlog effectively.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, design, and other cross-functional teams throughout the product lifecycle, from ideation to launch and post-launch optimization.
• Communicate product updates, progress, and challenges to stakeholders at various levels.
• Monitor product performance using key metrics, analyze data, and iterate on features to continuously improve the user experience and achieve desired outcomes.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and foster strong relationships with government agencies and external partners.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry best practices to identify innovative solutions

What we are looking for

• Relevant qualification in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management, preferably within a government or public sector context.
• Proven track record of successfully launching and managing digital products.
• Strong understanding of agile methodologies and product development frameworks.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage diverse stakeholders.
• Experience with user research, A/B testing, and data-driven product development.
• Familiarity with government digital services and the Singapore public service landscape is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
