About the Role
- Job Title: Scrum Master
- Location: Remote
Key Responsibilities
- Optimize the flow of user stories and maximize value delivery across Scrum teams.
- Coordinate and facilitate Agile/Scrum ceremonies such as Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
- Manage dependencies and provide clear visibility into team delivery plans and progress.
- Identify, track, and ensure timely resolution of impediments.
- Ensure adherence to Agile best practices and agreed team processes.
- Foster strong collaboration between the Product Owner and development team.
- Help define and enforce team norms, including Definition of Ready and Definition of Done.
- Maintain a healthy and prioritized product and sprint backlog in collaboration with the Product Owner.
- Facilitate risk management, dependency tracking, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Promote effective communication within the Agile team and with stakeholders.
- Track and analyze team performance metrics to identify improvement opportunities.
Minimum Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree (BS) in any field.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Scrum, Agile, or IT Project Management.
- Field of Study: Any discipline with relevant experience in Agile methodologies or project management.
Desired Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of SQL
- Experience with Data Governance practices
- Solid understanding of IT Project Management principles
Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum frameworks and tools
Salary and Other Compensation: The annual [salary/hourly rate] for this position is between [$90000 - $95000 annually]. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
