Description of the assignment

In this assignment we are mainly looking for a test-oriented developer who can assist us with advance python programming skills to optimize our current way of test reporting and KPI’s dashboarding.

The goal is to calculate and display KPIs for the log files, saving the results as KPIs and dashboards.

• What is the issue? We are looking for an intern to join our team and assist in optimizing and developing data analysis scripts or programs in Python. The primary task involves processing log files in CSV/Excel format, extracting important data, and transforming it through conversions or formulas.
• Why does this issue occur? As the log data from our current tests, conducted in collaboration with our co-development partner, is unfiltered.
• What is the impact of the issue? So many manual efforts currently to generate test report and report the KPI’s from the log data. Perhaps you can summarize the description of the assignment by giving the research question.

• Which activities and projects are carried out? Improving the current way of test reporting and KPI dashboarding with the test data as an input
• What is the position in the organization and how is it related to other departments? As an intern, It will be a useful pilot project for RBL(DCE-Robotics) The student will work on a project.
  
  

Tasks/responsibilities

• Improving the current way of test reporting and KPI dashboarding with the test data as an input with the help of Python for test reporting and Tooling like Splunk can be used for Dashboards.
• Documentation for the whole project in a standardized way
• Indicate which activities the student has to carry out.
• To review and suggest the gaps in the current way of test reporting and KPI dashboarding and what can be improved.
• To improve the test scripts written in Python and optimize and test them to be more robust.
• Able to run the test scripts successfully with the csv /excel as input and generate test report and Dashboards as output using python.
  
  

Your profile

What we expect to be delivered at the end of the internship is are drawings of the current test setup, drawings on how the test setup should look like and possibly an updated test setup

• *Mandatory enrolment to a Dutch Education System & resident of The Netherlands.
• What skills or background should the student have? Python, HTML
• Knowledge about object oriented programming , and clean coding
