Continental’s Data & Customer Solutions Competence Center develops innovative digital products that support both our customers and internal teams, and we’d love for you to be part of it!

Our Digital Solutions IT team is searching for a talented Service Owner to oversee and enhance our Conti Connect Service.

As a Mobile App Developer, you will work in a SCRUM team closely with backend developers, solutions architects and data engineers to build and enhance our existing and future digital services within Continental Tires. With this job, you join the global team working on our product ContiConnect, a digital tire monitoring platform for commercial fleets around the world.

Main Responsibilities:

• Developing, testing, and iterating on our mobile Apps while ensuring quality through applying agile software engineering principles;
• Refactoring existing code and writing tests in a modern Flutter application;
• Conceptualizing new functionalities for the existing mobile applications;
• You are taking part in all stages of the product development process while working in a SCRUM team;
• Collaborating with the hardware development team for state-of-the-art IoT solutions;
• Developing proof of concepts (PoCs) for future mobile applications;
• Working with our backend team to define the endpoints specifications;
• Working with UI/UX designer to optimize the UI/UX of our mobile applications by following modern design languages (e.g., Material design).
  
  

Qualifications

• University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or other related field;
• +2 years of work experience with mobile application development;
• Solid knowledge of native Android and/or native iOS development;
• General knowledge of Flutter or another cross-platform framework is beneficial;
• Preferable experience with microservices architectures and container/ orchestrator technologies like Cloud technologies (Azure), Jenkins build pipeline, and Git is beneficial;
• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs;
• A general understanding of Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) on Android/iOS platform is beneficial;
• Experience in IT projects, requirement definition, and review;
• Business fluent English language skills (written and spoken);
• Team player mentality;
• Good communication skills, conveying content to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
