Data Scientist – Clinical Trials & Predictive Modeling
🚀 Make an impact where it truly matters.
We are looking for a talented Data Scientist to join a cutting-edge team working at the intersection of data science and healthcare. In this role, you will contribute to the development of predictive models for treatment outcomes in clinical trials, directly influencing future trial design and clinical decision-making.
You’ll work with harmonized datasets from multiple Randomized Controlled Trials (RCTs), applying advanced analytics and machine learning techniques to generate insights that shape the future of medicine.
What You’ll Do
- Develop, validate, and deploy predictive models for treatment outcomes using clinical trial data
- Work with integrated datasets from multiple RCTs, ensuring robustness and consistency
- Apply statistical modeling and machine learning techniques to solve complex healthcare problems
- Analyze longitudinal and time-series data, addressing challenges such as missing data and irregular sampling
- Contribute to causal inference and treatment effect estimation analyses
- Build and maintain interactive dashboards and data visualization tools (e.g., R Shiny)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, translating insights into clear, actionable recommendations for both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with data governance, SOPs, and best practices
What We’re Looking For
✅ Required Skills & Experience
- Experience working with healthcare data (clinical trials or Real-World Evidence), including knowledge of standard data structures and data quality challenges
- Strong foundation in statistical modeling and machine learning (e.g., regression, classification, regularization, ensemble methods)
- Solid understanding of RCT methodology, causal inference, and treatment effect estimation
- Experience with longitudinal and time-series data, including handling missing data and irregular observation schedules
- Proficiency in Python and/or R, and experience working with cloud-based data platforms
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex analyses into meaningful insights
🎓 Education
- PhD + 1 year of relevant experience, OR
- Master’s + 3+ years of relevant experience
Nice to Have
- Experience building interactive dashboards and data visualization tools (e.g., R Shiny)
- Background in pharmaceutical drug development, health economics, or life sciences
- Familiarity with data governance standards and SOP compliance
