Senior Scrum Master

Emagine is seeking a Senior Scrum Master to join a collaborative and fast-paced project environment in Portugal. This role is ideal for a professional with strong experience in Agile methodologies and a background in AI-driven products and projects, looking to grow within Agile Delivery & Digital Transformation environments, with a strong focus on team facilitation, coaching, and continuous improvement.

You will support the delivery of AI-based products and projects, ensuring alignment between Agile practices, technical constraints, and business goals. This position requires a hands-on facilitation profile, strong coaching and communication skills, and the ability to work in a structured and service-oriented environment.

Your Main Responsibilities:

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives) ensuring high team engagement and continuous improvement
• Act as a servant leader, coaching teams and stakeholders on Agile and Scrum best practices
• Support the delivery of AI-based products and projects, ensuring alignment between Agile practices, technical constraints, and business goals
• Identify, remove, and proactively prevent impediments that may impact team performance or delivery
• Ensure consistency and quality in Agile delivery practices across teams
• Suggest and help implement new Agile practices and procedures aligned with internal guidelines
• Promote Agile maturity across teams and stakeholders
• Conduct knowledge-sharing and training sessions to support team upskilling
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Project Managers, and technical leaders to ensure roadmap alignment and value delivery

You Bring:

• 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or Project Manager in Agile environments
• Scrum Master Certification such as PSM II or A-CSM
• Proven experience working with AI-based products and/or AI-driven projects
• Strong knowledge of Scrum, Agile frameworks, and scaling concepts
• Experience working with cross-functional teams, including data and engineering profiles
• Strong facilitation, coaching, and communication skills
• Analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
• Ability to influence stakeholders and drive change
• Fluency in Portuguese & English

Nice to Have:

• Experience contributing to Agile transformation initiatives
• Background in Agile Competence Centers or similar structures
• Experience working in complex and evolving environments
• Familiarity with metrics-driven delivery and Agile KPIs
• Experience in international environments

Location & Eligibility:

• Candidates must be based in Portugal
• Hybrid regime — 2 days on site per week in Lisbon
