Product Manager Automation

Your Tasks

• Define and drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for automation systems towards the fully automated spinning mill
• Identify market trends and customer requirements and translate them into competitive automation solutions
• Conduct and maintain market and competitor analysis to support portfolio and investment decisions
• Act as Product Owner (PLM) for automation products, engineered solutions, spare parts, and repair offerings across the full lifecycle
• Take an active role in technical sales, supporting value‑based selling, solution definition, and technical‑commercial clarification in complex customer projects
• Support global sales organizations in customer-specific automation and system projects
• Ensure close collaboration with R&D, engineering, operations, sales, and service to deliver customer‑focused solutions
  
  

Your Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Automation, Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of experience in B2B technical sales, product management, or solution engineering for automation systems (e.g. AGVs, cobots, palletizing solutions)
• Experience in the textile industry is an advantage
• Strong analytical, communication, and decision-making skills with the ability to align cross-functional teams
• Willingness for global travel
• Openness to other cultures
• Fluent in English and German
