Role Overview

Albany Beck is seeking an experienced and delivery-focused Senior Product Manager to support a major product transformation initiative within a leading Financial Services environment.

This role will play a key part in the establishment and rollout of a new Product Operating Model across multiple business and technology functions. Working within a complex, evolving organisation following significant integration activity, the successful candidate will help shape product management capability, governance, tooling and modern ways of working across the enterprise.

The position requires a strong blend of strategic product thinking and hands-on execution capability. The successful candidate will work closely with senior stakeholders, business teams and technology partners to drive delivery outcomes, improve operational effectiveness and ensure customer value remains central to product decisions.


Responsibilities

Product Operating Model

  • Support the design and implementation of a scalable Product Operating Model across business and technology teams.
  • Help define product governance, prioritisation frameworks, delivery processes and operational standards.
  • Drive alignment between customer outcomes, business priorities and technology execution.
  • Contribute to the evolution of product management practices, tooling and operational frameworks.


Product Delivery & Execution

  • Lead the execution of complex product and transformation initiatives across cross-functional teams.
  • Translate strategic objectives into clear product roadmaps, delivery plans and measurable outcomes.
  • Partner with engineering, operations, architecture and business stakeholders to solve operational and customer challenges.
  • Ensure delivery initiatives are aligned to business value, operational efficiency and customer needs.


Organisational Change & Transformation

  • Support organisational change initiatives linked to product transformation and integration programmes.
  • Help embed modern product ways of working and agile delivery practices across teams.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on delivery effectiveness and operational maturity.
  • Drive adoption of new frameworks, governance models and product-centric approaches.


Customer & Domain Focus

  • Ensure customer needs and business value remain central to product decisions and prioritisation activities.
  • Apply knowledge across financial services, enterprise data and technology-driven environments.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage AI and automation to improve customer experience and operational efficiency.
  • Support the development of scalable, outcome-driven product capabilities.


Stakeholder Management

  • Work closely with senior sponsors, leadership teams and external delivery partners.
  • Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders across multiple locations and functions.
  • Build strong relationships across teams to support delivery, alignment and change adoption.
  • Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Strong understanding of Product Operating Models, governance, and agile delivery practices.

Preferred Experience and Knowledge

  • Proven experience as a Senior Product Manager within Financial Services or large enterprise environments.
  • Experience supporting product transformation or post-merger integration initiatives.
  • Exposure to enterprise data, capital markets or technology-led operating environments.
  • Experience establishing or scaling product management capabilities and operating models.
  • Familiarity with modern product tooling, governance frameworks, and agile methodologies.
  • Understanding of AI-enabled products, automation, and emerging product management practices advantageous.
  • Experience working across matrix organisations and cross-functional delivery teams preferred.
