Do you want to take on a key role in a fast-growing deep-tech company where you will help shape how a development team operates moving forward? Airpelago is now looking for its first Product Manager – someone who wants to combine technical understanding, structure, and drive to help the team focus on the right things at the right time.
This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys working close to development, thrives in creating order within complexity, and wants to make a real impact in a company with short decision-making paths and ambitious goals.
About Us
Airpelago is one of Europe’s leading companies in autonomous drone inspections of power lines. Through proprietary software and advanced data collection, we help energy companies perform safer, more sustainable, and more efficient inspections with higher quality. We are also among the first companies in Europe to receive approval for Beyond Visual Line of Sight flights in uncontrolled airspace.
The company is headquartered in Gothenburg and also has operations in Stockholm, France, the UK, and Germany. The team is characterized by strong technical expertise, curiosity, and a pragmatic way of working where we test, iterate, and build together.
The Role
This is a broad and influential role where you will work closely with CTO Tobias and gradually take ownership of parts of the operational responsibility surrounding the development organization. You will become the hub between the development team and stakeholders, focusing on creating structure, clarity, and the right conditions for the team to deliver effectively.
Your responsibilities will include:
Airpelago works extensively with AI-assisted development and is actively exploring how new AI tools can be integrated into the development process going forward. Here, you will have the opportunity to influence how future software development is actually carried out.
The Team
You will become part of a fast-growing development team of currently 10 people with strong technical expertise and a high degree of ownership and autonomy. The team works closely with the business, with short decision-making paths and a strong sense of independence.
The culture is defined more by pragmatism than by heavy processes. There is a strong willingness to test new ideas, iterate quickly, and continuously improve both the product and the way of working. This role will be central in creating even better structure without losing the entrepreneurial drive that has brought the company to where it is today.
