Data Scientist

We’re partnering with a highly specialised Scandinavian consultancy operating across Data, AI, Engineering, and Change Management to hire a Data Scientist for a long-term programme within secure critical infrastructure environments.

This is an opportunity to work on cutting-edge AI and automation initiatives inside highly secure environments, helping organisations develop and optimise AI/ML capabilities where external cloud tooling and online LLMs cannot be used.

📍 Location: Gothenburg (hybrid working - typically 3 days onsite)

The Role:

You’ll join an automation-focused team delivering solutions within a secure, high-availability infrastructure environment. The work is highly technical, collaborative, and innovation-driven, with a strong emphasis on enabling AI capability in isolated systems.

Key responsibilities include:

• Building and deploying AI/ML solutions in secure environments

• Developing primarily in Python and TypeScript

• Working with open-source LLMs and constrained AI environments

• Supporting automation and internal AI tooling initiatives

• Collaborating closely with engineers, consultants, and customer stakeholders

• Contributing ideas, mentoring others, and driving technical discussions

What we’re looking for:

✅ Strong Data Science background with hands-on coding expertise

✅ Strong Python skills (TypeScript experience highly desirable)

✅ Daily practical use of AI/LLMs in your current role

✅ Open-source mindset and interest in agentic AI

✅ Consulting personality - communicative, proactive, and confident engaging with stakeholders

✅ Experience within regulated, infrastructure-heavy, or mission-critical industries is highly valued

✅ Swedish citizen able to pass national security clearance
