About the Position

We are looking for a Scaffolding Engineer to join our large-scale industrial project in the Ust Luga Region of Russia. As a company known for delivering international-scale projects, we seek professionals and young talents who would play a key role in supporting the project in the field and engineering processes outside the construction site.

This role has a key importance to the success of the project by supporting construction works through managing scaffolding operation by accurate planning, scheduling, cost control, design and performance measurement, ensuring that project objectives are met efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Being responsible for all scaffolding works within the given scope,
• Taking part in subcontractor management, material order supply control,
• Helping with the creation of and following the work program,
• Management of the field teams and subcontractors under responsibility,
• Regular reporting of scaffolding works activities and work progress to the superiors and the technical office,
• Daily monitoring of the labour-hour efficiency and budget compliance of scaffolding operations.
• Supervising, monitoring and ensuring the scaffolding works activities of subcontractors and field teams are being done by the quality standards, regulations and production methods,
• Ensuring that subcontractors and field teams work by occupational safety rules during the installation/construction process,
• Controlling the installation/construction made and reporting of non-conforming productions,
• Checking subcontractors’ quantity survey and progress payments reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering,
• 1-4 years of experience in scaffolding works at Construction, Power & Heat, Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects,
• Experienced in field team and subcontractor management,
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations (ASME, EN) related to scaffolding works in industrial projects; knowledge of GOST or ГОСТ standards and regulations is a big plus,
• Strong proficiency in MS Office programs, MS Project, AutoCAD, etc.
• Fluent in English,
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and internal teams,
• Excellent report drafting skills,
• Ability to work and lead well under pressure in a fast-paced work environment,
• Highly motivated and detail-oriented character,
• Willing and able to work abroad on a long-term basis.
