A client in banking is seeking a Lead Business Analyst to join the team for a 12 to 16 week engagement on site in Qatar.
You will lead the business analysis workstream for a major regulatory reporting transformation, working closely with the on site Programme Manager and Tech Lead to rapidly define and agree reporting requirements. The objective is to rationalise a complex regulatory reporting estate and enable downstream data and reporting teams to begin delivery at pace.
Responsibilities
- Lead on site workshops to capture, clarify and agree regulatory reporting requirements and metrics
- Rationalise a large existing regulatory reporting landscape into an agreed core set of reports
- Own and drive the Business Analysis workstream, coordinating closely with technology and delivery leads
- Manage and influence senior stakeholders, including handling challenge and resistance in a complex environment
Requirements
- Consulting trained Business Analyst at strong Manager level from a Big 4 or top-tier consultancy
- Proven experience delivering regulatory reporting or complex MI initiatives in banking or financial services
- Strong understanding of data, reporting and core banking concepts
- Confident workshop facilitator with excellent stakeholder management and experience leading offshore teams

- Day rate: Up to £700 Ltd depending on experience
