System & cloud administrator

Responsibilities

✓ Provide management and support to the Infra hosting on cloud

✓ Support Systems migration from current data center to Cloud

✓ Investigate on network related issues

✓ Setup the necessary configurations of backup and restoration

✓ Provide necessary documentation as part of the Systems setting up and coordinate with client on taking necessary approvals

✓ Maintains web environment by identifying system requirements, installing upgrades and monitoring system performance.

✓ Establishes web system specifications by analyzing access, information and security requirements and designing system infrastructure.

✓ Maintains web system performance by performing system monitoring and analysis and performance tuning

✓ Secures web system by developing system access, monitoring, control and evaluation, completing back-ups and maintaining documentation..

✓ Upgrades web system by conferring with vendors and services and developing, 

✓ Safeguards information system assets by identifying and solving potential and actual security problems.

✓ Protects system by defining access privileges, control structures, and resources.

✓ Recognizes problems by identifying abnormalities, reporting violations.

✓ Determines security violations and inefficiencies by conducting periodic audits.

✓ Upgrades system by implementing and maintaining security controls.

✓ Keeps users informed by preparing performance reports, communicating system status.

✓ Installing and managing WAF/ IPS/ IDS …

✓ Maintains quality service by following organization standards.

✓ Provide network support with a variety of operating systems.

✓ Maintain network connectivity of all computer workstations.

✓ Provide network support to employees.

✓ Maintain servers and associated applications, services, and settings.

✓ Develop and monitor policies for the use of network resources.

✓ Implement and manage disaster recovery and back-up.

✓ Evaluate and recommend security improvements and system upgrades.

✓ Monitor network to ensure optimal performance.

Job Requirements:

• At least 2-4years of experience in infra domain

• At least 2 projects on Azure/AWS implementations/migrations.

• Proven - In depth knowledge in core Azure/AWS services like: Webapps, Vm’s, RDS etc. Autoscaling setup and configurations 

• Fundamental knowledge of networking concepts

• Knowledge on various protocols, SSH, IPv4/6, SSL and encryption knowledge

• Proven network engineering, network operations, and network performance analysis skills

• System administration

• Network security

• Firewall administration

• Multiple operating systems like Windows/Linux

• Setup and configuration of O/s including cluster setups/raid configurations

• Information security policies

• Knowledge of computing infrastructures

• Familiarity with server management and monitoring tools

• General Programming Skills

• Technical Understanding and Management

• Proficiency with scripting languages

• On-call network troubleshooting

• Hands-on technical troubleshooting capabilities

• Exposure to Devops tools would be added advantage

Technical Software Skills Requirements:

· In-depth knowledge on at least one database like Postgres/MySQL.

· Knowledge on containerized setups using Docker/Kubernetes

· Monitoring setup using CloudWatch and other tools ELK

· Security setup for IPS/IDS/DDos using WAF/shield.

· Previous experience on CI/CD pipeline.

· Has a familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, GIT, Docker.

· Microsoft Certified: Azure Network Engineer Associate
