Your role in the team
For this position, we are looking for engineers capable of working in the following activities:
- Developing embedded software for powertrain control and transmission-related functions
- Designing, implementing, integrating, and testing software solutions for diverse vehicle applications
- Collaborating with system, hardware, and verification teams to deliver reliable, production-ready software
- Performing troubleshooting and analysis in vehicles and test environments to support issue resolution
- Participating in code reviews and contributing to continuous improvement
- Aligning technical solutions with system and product requirements across the full lifecycle
- Supporting development activities throughout advanced engineering, product development, and maintenance phases
- Designing and developing embedded software for powertrain control functions
- Collaborating with hardware, system, and calibration engineers to ensure seamless integration
- Conducting testing, verification, and validation of embedded software
- Performing troubleshooting activities in vehicles to support issue resolution and validation
- Participating in code reviews and contributing to software quality improvements
- Working throughout the full product lifecycle, from advanced engineering to maintenance
- BSc/MSc in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering, or related field
- Hands-on experience in embedded software development
- Knowledge of Matlab/Simulink/ASCET and C programming
- Strong communication skills in English and Portuguese
- A responsible, proactive, and open-minded team player
- Availability for on-site work
- Experience in Powertrain Control or Transmission Systems.
- Knowledge of automotive communication protocols and standards (CAN, AUTOSAR, ASPICE).
- Familiarity with measurement and verification tools (ATI Vision, CANalyzer).
- Additional programming skills (Python, Matlab scripting).
- A truck driver’s license (considered a merit).
- Motivation to bring solutions from system design to verification.
