The Role

  • Develop and optimize existing and future digital products and backend services
  • Select appropriate backend technologies, implement technical solutions, and identify optimization potential for code quality, performance, and maintainability
  • Support the maintenance and further development of existing platform solutions
  • Drive the technical evolution of backend systems for digital applications
  • Conduct fault analysis and structured debugging processes
  • Integrate internal backend services and automate processes
  • Build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines

What You'll Need

  • Several years of professional experience as a Backend Developer, including current responsibilities at a senior level
  • Excellent knowledge of backend technologies (PHP, Java)
  • Experience with RESTful APIs, microservice architectures, and databases (SQL and/or NoSQL)
  • Familiarity with CI/CD, automated tests, and DevOps tooling, ideally in an Azure environment
  • Strong user-centric mindset for planning, implementation, review, and testing of features
  • Good communication skills and assertiveness
