Full Stack Developer (React & Laravel)

About the Role

We are working with an innovative Media Company who are looking for a talented Full Stack Developer to join their growing team on the payroll. In this role, you will develop and maintain modern web applications, collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our technology landscape.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain internal and customer-facing web applications using React and Laravel.
• Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services to connect applications with external tools and systems.
• Write clean, maintainable, reusable, and well-documented code.
• Test, troubleshoot, and debug applications to ensure quality, reliability, and performance.
• Implement security measures and best practices for data protection.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes, workflows, and software architecture.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative digital solutions.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience with React and Laravel.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, PHP, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience working with RESTful APIs and relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with Git version control and CI/CD processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Docker and containerisation.
• Familiarity with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and unit testing.
• Basic understanding of UI/UX and responsive design principles.
• Interest in AI and machine learning technologies.
• Experience creating online content.
• Additional language skills.
• Affinity with the audiovisual, media, events, or broadcast industry.
