Senior Dotnet Developer

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior .NET Developer to join our existing development teams and support ongoing business initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions while adhering to established development standards and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable applications using modern .NET technologies (.NET 8–10).
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions aligned with business requirements.
3. Implement and optimize data access layers using Entity Framework Core, SQL Server, and MongoDB.
4. Develop and maintain integrations and messaging solutions using RabbitMQ.
5. Ensure code quality through code reviews, adherence to development standards, and implementation of best practices.
6. Take ownership of assigned tasks, proactively identify issues, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the development team.

Required Qualifications

1. Strong hands-on experience with .NET 8, .NET 9, and/or .NET 10 development.
2. Proven expertise in Entity Framework Core (EF Core) and relational database development using SQL Server.
3. Experience working with MongoDB and NoSQL database concepts.
4. Solid understanding and practical experience with RabbitMQ or similar messaging platforms.
5. Experience building and maintaining enterprise-grade applications with a focus on performance, scalability, and maintainability.
6. Strong knowledge of software development best practices, clean code principles, and version control systems.

Nice-to-Have Skills

1. Experience with Microservices Architecture and distributed systems.
2. Knowledge of Blazor for modern web application development.
3. Familiarity with cloud-based environments and containerization technologies.

Language Requirements

• French, with a passive understanding of Flemish; or
• Flemish, with a passive understanding of French.
