Context of the mission

How will you make an impact?

  • As a DevOps Engineer EUC within the EUC & Collaboration team, you contribute directly by working in close collaboration with the local brand teams from BeCSE to enable business value. You will make impact by innovating, designing, developing, and supporting new and/or existing high quality business functionality for Client Modern Workplace solutions in the BeCSE region.
  • In this role, you will play a key role in assisting the Regional IT Manager EUC & Collaboration in shaping the workplace of the future. Together with your colleagues you will propose/implement solutions & roadmaps staying at the front of the technology to deliver employee experiences on a par with best experiences to increase business productivity and engagement.

Business experience required (work experience)

  • Mandatory (years: medior 3-5/ senior 6+)
  • Strong experience in IT architecture with exposure to retail and supply chain environments
  • Experience and ability to deliver in complex IT transformations
  • Ability to work within an agile context and with waterfall managed projects

Preferable

  • Experience in multinational or large-scale retail organisations

Techincal and Functional experience required

  • Mandatory (years: medior 3-5 / senior 6+)
  • Very deep experience in EUC/Workspace platforms: On-Prem AD/Azure Active Directory Networking platforms, Imaging, Packaging, Intune, SCCM, Workspace One/Airwatch with high focus on Azure Virtual Desktop & Citrix
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 Administration is a big added value
  • A track record of several years architecting/participating in complex End User Computing solutions in international environments/multinationals.
  • Working experience in DevSecOps tools/tech: Github, Azure Devops,CI/CD pipelines.
  • Several years of experience in EUC & Workspace projects F.e. major Windows Upgrades in large EUC landscapes, EUC conversion projects from on-prem to Cloud (SCCM to Intune), Citrix upgrades & migrations to Azure.
  • Design/Deliver/Automate/Script/Program modules for related Azure Services (f.e. to manage solutions supporting AVD host pools)

Relevant certifications

  • Drilled to the agile way of work & tools/methodology (JIRA, SCRUM, …)
  • Can resolve technical problems when required (acting as 3rd level support for your projects)

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage Citrix & Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments to ensure optimal performance, security, and user experience.
  • Monitor and maintain Citrix & AVD deployments, including troubleshooting and resolving issues related to connectivity, performance, and user access.
  • Provide technical support and training to end-users and IT staff on Citrix & AVD-related topics.
  • Create and maintain documentation for Citrix & AVD configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Participate in capacity planning and scaling of AVD resources to meet organizational needs.
  • Ensure compliance with security policies and regulations in the Citrix & AVD environment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AVD solutions with existing infrastructure and applications.
  • Develop and enforce best practices for AVD configuration, deployment, and management.
  • Stay up to date with the latest AVD features, updates, and industry trends to continuously improve the virtual desktop environment.
  • Collaborate with vendors and third-party providers to support and enhance AVD solutions.
